Anonymous asked: do you think it'll be hard to balance a casual job with studies? i'm in year 11 with 2 vce subjects.

Last year I worked two jobs (usually 3 or 4 days per week), did two 3/4s and played representative netball twice a week. At times it was a challenge balancing it all with homework and SACs and exams, but I was actually really lucky that I’ve got pretty flexible jobs and was able to cancel work when things were getting busy. If you’ve got a pretty chill workplace in terms of hours, then I would definitely reccommend working in year 11. It’s important that you don’t spend all of your time studying and thinking about school. Keep up your hobbies and jobs (and get involved with house)!
